If the Unity application refuses to connect to the AcqKnowledge instance, please verify that the Network Data Transfer (NDT) functionality is activated in AcqKnowledge preferences, as shown below:

The control TCP port value needs to match the port number specified in Unity, the auto-discovery needs to be enabled if the Unity application uses it. If this does not resolve the problem, please verify the following:
The control TCP port value needs to match the port number specified in Unity, the auto-discovery needs to be enabled if the Unity application uses it. If this does not resolve the problem, please verify the following:
- The hostname in Unity matches the hostname/IP address of the machine running the AcqKnowledge installation
- The auto-discovery feature requires that both the computer running AcqKnowledge and the machine running Unity are on the same TCP/IP network. In many cases using a wireless connection could prevent this from working correctly. If that is the case, try using a wired connection instead.
- Some firewall and antivirus software could interfere with the networking functionality of both AcqKnowledge and Unity. Please make sure that both are whitelisted or the firewall/antivirus are deactivated, as appropriate.
